Default 1995 Accord LX FTS Problems

So a few months back I had a problem with overheating while at idle for long periods of time. I ended up replacing the Fast thermostat switch; fixed the problem. However, today it started doing it again. Does anyone happen to know if I have a bad electrical problem that is causing the switch to burn out so fast? I have done the paper clip trick to see if the check engine light does the code thing, nothing.
This car is going to give me a stroke!
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

You really need to figure out why the car is overheating at idle.

When the engine is cold, remove radiator cap and see if radiator is filled to the top with coolant.

If you turn on the a/c with the engine running, do either or both fans turn on? Do both fans turn on when the temperature starts to rise?

Yeah, with the ac on they both turn on. I fixed the problem last time by replacing the FTS, I was wondering why it would burn out so quick again...its been around 4 months. No fans come on when it goes above the middle marker. I'm not sure if it's the connectors going nuts, or some kind of electrical problem causing this specific switch to burn out.

Which switch did you replace? Is it the Temperature Switch A that is on the thermostat housing? It has a green plug, I think?

Yeah, that's the one I ended up replacing. I've tested the thermostat when I replaced it as well.

A problem with that switch would not give you an engine code.

There really isn't anything that I can think of to cause that switch to go bad. Was this a dealership part or aftermarket?

You should test that switch. If you have a volt meter, see if the switch is a closed circuit when the engine starts to overheat. You can use the resistance setting as well.

Also inspect that green plug for dirty, corroded, bent, etc.. pins inside.

Found the problem. It should have been the first thing I checked...radiator cap seal disintegrated.
