1995 Honda Accord EX 2.2 4dr vtec solenoid gaskets
Hey guys,
I believe that I've tracked down an oil leak that I've had for a while to the VTEC solenoid. I just got back from the Honda dealership to pick up the two new gaskets for it and am waiting for the car to cool down so I can change them. I'm starting this thread to help out anybody else who's having an oil leak issue and can't track it down, check your distributor O-Ring and your VTEC solenoid! Here's a couple of picture's of the new parts with part numbers so that you know what to look up if you order the new gaskets offline.

Hey Guys,
I only got a chance to replace the top gasket since it was about to rain but that only took a couple of minutes. I was a little unsure about the torque specs on the 3 10mm bolts on top of the solenoid so I just torqued them down evenly but not as far as they would go. Taking the actual VTEC solenoid off seems like it's going to be a little more involved but I think I'm going to have to take off whatever is behind it in order to get to the lower bolt. If you've had experience doing this please give me some tips.
