1995 speedometer wire harness
Help, I am a dumba$$. I pulled the transmission (alone) in my 1995 accord to replace the clutch and did not unplug the speedometer wire harness from the tranny, well you can guess I am now looking at three stripped wires dangling from the tranny. Any clues as to an easy way to bust into the wire bundle at the fire wall to expose the speedometer wires to reattach them without working for 6 hours or pulling the intake manifold? By the way, the three wires pulled clean from the plastic harness protector, about 10 inches of wire is exposed with about an inch and a half of clean bare wire at the ends, so clean in fact I thought this was a dummy plug not used by the car so my assumption is that there is a junction in the hard plastic harness protector. thanks for any advise (other than confirmation that I am an idiot)

Can you post a picture of where it pulled out? I am trying to understand which/what plastic harness protector you're referring to.
Anyways, the VSS 3-P grey connector is connector C107. The wires from the VSS appear to run through the middle of the engine to the driver's side of the engine. The VSS Blk wire is the ground wire, which eventually connects to the main ground, G101 (bolted to the intake manifold). The VSS Yel wire (Ignition Input) and the Orn wire (Vehicle Speed output) eventually goes to the 14-P grey connector (C133).
You probably can splice sections of new wires back in somewhere along the path of main engine harness. Or re-route new wiring.
