Default 1996 Accord Cruise Control Not Working after brake job

I had the rear pads replaced, that's it, no other work. Now, there is no light on the dash to indicate the cruise control is activated, and there is no cruise control. The brake lights are working. The brake pedal feels different than before the work, its firmer. Thanks for your suggestions!

Is this an automatic or manual transmission?

Look under the hood for wires or vacuum hoses that aren't connected. Perhaps they bumped something when they opened the master cylinder.

Just so we don't take anything for granted, check the switch down at the brake pedal. It might need to be adjusted or something. Whether it's a coincidence or related to the brake work they did.
