recently my honda shuts off while driving or idling when warmed up. it runs excellant, no missing, backfiring etc. i have replaced fuel pump and filter, battery, alternator, ignition and the problem is still there, after sitting for about 5-10 minutes it will start back up for about another 1-2 miles and does the same thing. just shuts off, any ideas on what it can be now??? I'm going nuts here...

When no-start occurs check whether you can hear fuel pump in fuel tank come on when keyswitch is turned to On. It should come on and run for 2-3 secs and go off at same time as check engine light.
If you don't hear the fuel pump run, the main fuel relay may be intermittent causing your problem, or less likely a faulty fuel pump.
good luck

so ignition switch has been replaced now i'm confused. lol i have put over 1000.00 into this and am nuts over it, there are 3 things left to my understanding, coil, distributor and control module. if either the first 2 i would have dash lights when it dies, i dont. when i restart after 5/10 minutes i do have all instrument panel lights, now what? i'm running out of money!!!! not to mention my mind.

Problem suggests intermittent power supply. Since you've replaced ignition switch, I would investigate battery cables and grounds carefully.
You need a download manual to find the grounds to check under hood and under dash. See DIY forum, Online Manuals post.
