Common Causes and Troubleshooting Steps:
  • Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils: Start by checking the spark plugs and ignition coils for wear, damage, or corrosion. Replace them if necessary.
  • Distributor (if applicable): If your Honda has a distributor, the ignitor module inside might be faulty. Inspect and potentially replace it.
  • Valve Adjustment: Older Honda engines, especially those with overhead valves, may need a valve adjustment. If the valves are not properly adjusted, it can cause misfires.
  • Cylinder Compression: Low cylinder compression can also cause misfires. A compression test can help determine if there are issues with the pistons, rings, or cylinder head.
  • Timing Belt/Chain: Check the timing belt or chain for proper alignment. If it's off, it can lead to misfires.
  • Fuel Injectors: Faulty fuel injectors can also cause misfires.

Sorry. I should have read more. Looks like you have eliminated a great deal. It's probably not your injectors as usually only 1 will act up and the code will indicate that particular cyl. But you never know.
