I have noticed on my 97 Accord, a periodic "clunking" sound when slowing down at low speed, when the Automatic transmission downshifts or I let off the gas.

It reminds me of the sound a worn out driveshaft universal joint would make.

Does anyone know what might cause this, and if the 97 Accord has any type of joint that might be worn?
