Could someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!! My air in my car is working only when it wants to,its some 95 degrees here. It dosen't even light up when it shuts off and it only blows out from tha floor....it will come on when it want and work correctly,but I have no idea where to start with repairing it...

 

Calm down, everything will work out just fine;
From your description it sounds like the vent mode motor is not working.
Do you know your model? EX / LX / DX

 

its an EX 4cyd V-tec....I think i need a new ac control unit.....nobody around here has them

 

Any junk yards around? Let us know how it goes.

 

For sure....I'm pretty sure Imma have to go see a honda dealer for the part...no one carries them

 

Did you check your vent-mode motor? Why do you think it's the control unit?

 

Because the control units come and go... mine does the same thing.

Basically, if it lights up and you can select different modes, it's fine. If the light is off and you can't change the mode or temp, the control unit is out.

Mine comes and goes, but stays on most of the time. Try eBay, they go or about $30-50 on there vs. $150 at the dealer.
