Default 1998 cv axle rebuild

I took the right hand side axle out from under my 1998 accord SiR-T, it has a torn outer boot. Long story short I couldn’t get the outer part of the axle appart and the inner boot was cracked up, so I decided to change that one as well and took the back end of the axle appart. When I slid off the inner end, I took off the bearings and cleaned everything up and put it all back together with new boots. The bearings were siting on rectangular spacers, I didn’t notice what side the were on (the bearings don’t sit in the middle of the spacers). I reassembled the axle without really thinking about the orientation of the bearings. Anyone have a diagram of these to help me make sure I didn’t put them in upside down?

I drew a rough picture of the bearings and the two possible ways of re-assembly. I hope some of this gibberish means something to you guys!

thanks for you help!

Is the grey part in your drawing the roller bearing that has a base attached like a tophat? I think the orientation is the 4 o'clock orientation.

Google 44310-S3X-300 to see if the images are what you are asking about. I believe these spacers are for manual transmission CV joints.
