Default 1998 honda "rough idling" when decreased speed

Hello all, I have a question/problem that I am hoping someone may be able to help me with. I have a 1998 Honda Accord LX 2.3l that when at idle is "rough" like shakes the car. When I apply the gas pedal or accelerate rather the car is fine. This also happens when I take my foot off of the gas to stop at a red light, the car will shake and feel like the engine will stall but doesn't. It's almost like it wants to stall but fights to stay running. Any help? And thank you in advance!

Are the tune up items up to date - cap. rotor, plugs, inspect plug wires?

I'd also stop by a parts store and ask them to scan for any codes, if there are any get the actual code ("P" and four digits - P1259) and not their description.

From there, well cleaning the TB can't hurt anything.

Does this only seem to happen once the car is warmed up?
