There's 2 spots to clean. Did you clean the passage on the engine also. Was yours clogged? As long as you can see through it it's clean.

Where can you see thru at? From the hole to the throttle body opening? I cleaned the one on the engine also.

Did you check to make sure the egr was working? Spray carb cleaner and let it soak. You should see the cleaner going through

I replaced the map sensor so I went ahead and changed the tps also. I'll check to see if the egr is opening before I take the plenum back off to re-clean the ports. Did you say use the pink wire to test the egr?

Yes the pink wire. What brand tps did you use.

Do you just ground it and go from the positive battery post to the pink wire?

Keep the cable plugged in. Back prob the pink wire to the positive. The egr should open.

Do you just back probe the pink wire and jumper it to the positive post on the battery? Do I have to unbolt it from the car? Does the ignition need to be turned on?

Take it off because you will not be able to see underneath to see it open. Jump the pink to the positive lead by back probing.
