I'll drive it tomorrow and see if and what codes it shows. I want to thank you for helping me to try and figure this thing out. I've been fighting this thing for months. I' ll post up tomorrow what I've found after I drive it. Again thanks for the info.

 

I drove it around town a little bit this morning and when I got back I put the scanner on it and it showed P1491. I had the egr plugged up. Should I unplug it and drive it and see if it will show a P0401?

I put the new EGR valve on it yesterday and I just got back from driving it here around town and when I got home I put my scanner on it and guess what a P1491 code. What's next? This is ridiculous.

When you drove it did it loose power again or it drove like it should?

 

It drove like it should. This thing should be listed in Guinness World Record book. Lol.

 

Ok I'm thinking now you have the code that will clear itself. How many miles did you drive it. If it's not loosing power then something was correct with the EGR. I would continue to drive, put it in the highway. Did you clear all pending and hard codes before driving.

 

I drove it for about 5 miles. It drove like it always does. It's been acting up when I get 90 - 100 miles on it. Again don't make sense. Yeah I cleared the codes before I drove it. I got to go back to the Dr. In Nashville next week. We'll see what it does then.
