Default 1999 honda accord motor mount clip! timing belt replacement.

hello

i have a 1999 honda accord took it to the dealer to get the timing belt replaceed a few weeks ago..

a few days later i started hearing a clunk, a pop,and a vibration feeling sometimes when i was turning the key to start the car. near the fire wall inside the car.. buy my toes.

so i took it the dealer to today to have them look at it..

it turns out it was the clip on the motor mount bracket that locks under the motor mount was not locked under the mount.

and that was causeing the clunk pop and vibrating feeling.

the guy at the dealer said he has never seen that before..

so if you get your timing belt replaced make sure they lock that clip.

has anyone heard of this before? let me know

thanks.

I never heard of that.

Is this a V6 or a 4-cylinder engine?
