Default 2000 Honda Accord dead radio fix was blowing fuse.

The radio on my 2000 Honda Accord is dead basically I had an issue with the fuse blowing thats for the radio/cig ligher. I think the radio was blowing the fuse because the lighter works now and I unplug the radio I was wondering if I could take apart the radio in maybe fix whatever's wrong with it but I can't seem to find me info about repairing it or figuring out what's wrong with it.

If you plug in the radio and leave the lighter unplugged, does the radio work? It is a quick check to make sure the lighter isn't drawing ~9 amps and the radio just pulls enough amps to blow the fuse.

There isn't something specific on the radio known to cause this issue. You'll have to look at the pin that gets power to the radio, and look for obvious signs of arching/shorting on the circuit board.
