Thank you all btw. Do any of you know where the vtec solenoid part is located in my engine compartment? ive been trying to find it. Like what side of the engine what is it next to. Im having a very hard time finding it.

Down by the oil filter. Should be on the same little piece the filter screws on to.

Down low, against the right-front fender. That drawing is from the viewpoint of standing near the right-front door hinges & looking down low into that corner of the engine compartment.

Look for the oil filter (#9 in the picture). Then you'll see that stuff inside the box #12 it's what the oil filter is screwed onto.

It might be easier to find from underneath. Once you FIND it, then it might be easier to reach it from above?? Like I said, I never had a V-6...

ok well ive noticed when my car hasn't warmed up to the normal operating temperature, its goes up to the maximum rpms above 3200. But then when it warms up the rev limit goes back down to 3200. Does this meen anything? people are telling me to get a new vtec solenoid i dont think that is the issue i didnt even get close to where it is located.

#21 in the parts diagram is the threaded part where you install the oil filter. On top of that metal piece is the vtec solenoid (#14) and the pressure switch (#17).

problem solved it was just a vacuum leak, i knocked a tiny hose off my intake while i was changing the throttle cable
