It was surprisingly easy to silence the separate alarm horn temporarily - the pics show the bungee cord loops pressing down on a wooden block near the edge of the alarm horn's diagram - all in plain view under the hood (which has no lock sensor). I would prefer to pull out the 2-wire connector but I don't seem able to release it - could it be anti-tamper? Please could someone fully describe how to release it?
Thank you PAhonda. I first need to know what I must do to release the connector's (anti-vibration) locking tab(s) - if, after unlocking them, ,the connector won't budge, I'll certainly try WD40. I am very naive about car electrics.
