Default 2001 Accord front wheel noise

We cant figure out what is making the thumping noise in the drivers side front wheel area. A mechanic checked the strut and said it seemed fine, but the noise sound just like a loose shock/strut. Any help would be appreciated.

Check for any loose ball joints?
Check for loose suspension pivot bushings?
Loose anti-roll bar bushings?

IF you rule that stuff out, check out whether a TIRE is going bad. The belts can do funny things, shift around & make noises & go out of balance. Not too common, but it does happen. Check that by swapping tires around.

as dumb as this sounds... the same thing happened to me during this past winter. I just put my snow tires on and my front left went flat, so I put on my spare. I drove around for 2 weeks and it started making a thudding/thumping noise whenever i turned a little bit, even going straight. My buddy and I decided to check if the rotar was messed up, but when I tried taking off the lugnuts, they were VERY loose. So i decided to tighten up the lugnuts rather than put the fixed snow tire back on, and wah-lah! no more thudding... but now my brake rotar has a nice smoother edge since the tire leaned on it while i drove it for two weeks.. good luck!
