Post 2001 Accord V6 Coupe

What recommendations to bring my 2001 Accord V6 Coupe (220,000 miles) up to spec so that it will approximate like new conditions? I am referring to under the hood, brakes, struts, bearings etc. anything I can do to make car as safe as it was when new and like-new operating condition. I have maintained the vehicle as recommended and it runs well, but I cannot afford a new car and since I love my car, I would like to keep it running for a long time.

Timing belt and transmission fluid come to mind first. Spark plugs, wires, cap, and coil come to mind next. Also fuel filter and air filter would be good to replace.

As far as suspension and brakes I go I wouldn't replace them unless they need to be replaced IE pads and or rotors are worn down or shocks are blown.

I think the fuel filter is in the tank on this one.....so I'd skip it unless there is an issue.

Is it? I'm only familiar with the 5th gen fuel filter, figured the 6th gen would be similar.

On the 6th, the filter is part of the fuel pump .....we all know what fun it is to get to the pump on anything newer that 89.

Starting in 98, Honda put the access panel back in to replace the fuel pump. The tank doesn't need dropped.
