What are your thoughts on this. This is the driver side fuse box...

Good news. Got the car running again. I put the old plugs back in cause when I pulled out the new ngk's they were toast. So what fouled them so quickly?

Well someone has done something to this car.....that "tap" into the BLK/YEL wire is a concern.

Then just me but that butt end of the the tap that has the yellow wire coming out of it in the first pic......I hate to see a "power" wire resting right to a "ground" source.

Then in the second pic there seems to be a green wire with issues.

What is all of this aftermarket stuff for?

Ok, every now and then my wife chimes in....don't ask but she lets me spend nights trying to help others without giving me fits.......Some will understand....I don't get the "you don't talk to me" and I don't have to pay attention to american idol or the voice or whatever she is watching.......but even she said that green wire is "messed up" - can't quote her, she is a lady .

Those were my thoughts exactly lol. I followed those wires and it's a shock sensor. I'm guessing a factory alarm add on? Idk...

And with that green wire there is a diode. If you look closely in the 2nd pic it's in between the two spade terminals.

The aftermarket alarm may be a distraction....You have 12v on the BLK/YEL, this is good. Are you getting spark at the plug?

Pull one of the plug wires and insert a spark tester/or spark plug. Ground the plug and crank crank the engine over - do you get a blue spark from the plug?
