2002 Accord 2.3 Removing aftermarket security system, what are these plugs?
Just picked up an 02 Accord with a 2.3 auto and tracking down some issues.
Starting with removing the aftermarket security system. I was able to sort everything out except these 2 plugs that they tied into.
Both were unplugged and tapped into, but i cant find where the OEM plug, like, plugs in. Are these two lose plugs and not used?
Black/Green with grey plug is just inside the driver fuse door.
Orange/Yellow with grey plug is under the dash near the back side of the main fuse block.
I've been googling all day and cant find anything on it. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I tried looking through the shop manual to match wiring, but it is not simple. Those connectors will plug into something within reach, so the connector has to be nearby.
You can look up the installation/owner's manual for the security system you are removing to figure it out.
For security systems, look at both brake switches, also the fuse panel for open connections. Maybe the horn so inside the steering clamshell. Turn signals/hazard lights.
Alternatively, you can try starting the car and see what isn't working to narrow it down.
The 2-GRY connector with the yellow wire and orange wire is likely Connector C504 (option connector for Honda Keyless or Keyless/Security Control Unit), which is for the power supply coming from Driver's side under-dash Fuse No. 9. The Honda accessory allows for an inline fuse between C504 and the keyless or keyless/security control unit.
The 2-GRY connector with the Blk/Wht wire and the green wire is Connector C631 (option connector for Honda Keyless or Keyless/Security Control Unit). These are the lock and unlock wires for the driver's door lock switch. Blk/Wht wire is lock, Green wire is unlock.
