Default 2002 Accord EX rebuild

I recently acquired a 2002 accord EX with the f23a1 engine and a auto tragic transmission. The car runs but is a boring turd. This was my brothers car, then mine, and then a buddy bought it, and now I have it back. My plan is to convert to manual and build the car from there. Phase 1 mods will include: manual swap, performance clutch, new flywheel, sticking with obd 2 Hondata s300 ecu, performance brakes, performance suspension, aluminum wheels, new tires, performance air intake, performance exhaust and just overall maintenance and upgrades. New and upgraded fuel injectors will be added at the end of phase 1. Phase 2 will focus on engine mods, mapping & tuning, and a turbo kit. Thoughts? I’m not going to swap engines, I’m not looking for a 8 second monster, I just want a cool, quick little accord that will surprise people. Also, why obd 1? It’s inferior and would require a complete require if the car. Someone convince me why this is worth it lol

Some progress has been made. Bought a m/t from a salvage yard and ordered some aftermarket parts.

Clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate.

My new shifter
