starter planetary gears grease
I am rebuilding the starter in my 2014 Accord. What is the best grease to use for the planetary gears. I have read both Moly and White lithium.

Yes, Honda M77 paste should work fine. It contains molybdenum disulfide. Older service manuals specified using molybdenum disulfide.
Newer service manual doesn't state the type of grease on the starter planetary gears, etc.
When you disassemble a used starter, there may be a lot debris from the worn brushes on different parts inside the starter. The old grease with debris should be cleaned off and new grease reapplied.

The following is an old excerpt for Honda recommended greases and lubricants. Moly 60's description was for gears, bearings, and other high pressure/high temperature
applications. However, Moly 60 was discontinued and M77 was the recommended replacement. https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com...-m77-087989010
