Unhappy 2003 Honda Accord EX 4cyl. possible electrical problem

I have a 2003 Honda EX Coupe 4cyl.

I had my battery changed at a garage and now both turn signals do not function, the radio and the passenger side door electric windows and locks as well as the hazzard emergency flasher.

What was incorrectly done when installing the battery to cause these problem.

Thank you,

old but goody

Have you checked all the fuses? I can not see any one thing that can cause all the proublems turn sig. and 4 way are related if you have a bad 4 way switch and it is pressed in the turn sig. will not work. Is the radio in lock out? and needs the code put in it. If battery was put in wrong it will blow a big fuse most times pls check these and repost I will try to watch.

If all of this was working before I would take it back to the shop that installed the battery.....yes this could be as simple as a fuse but looking through the few wire diagrams I have I can't find a common one(s) that goes to what you have listed.
My concern is when it comes to the pass side window and locks. The multiplex could have been damaged, which is not as cheap as a fuse.
If the shop isn't going to make it right.....Do you have a volt meter?

The multiplex integrated control system (MICS) on these cars is complex. It could have been damaged as PoorMan suggests, but I would expect these systems to be pretty tough to withstand known events such as battery change and perhaps even reverse voltage (cables incorrectly connected).

Suggest asking the shop to disconnect the battery for 1-2 minutes and then reconnect firmly w/o opening/closing the circuit. This may allow a reset that will fix the problems.

Otherwise a Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) may to be necessary to interrogate the MICS. There appears to be a Mode 1 and Mode 2 that allows interrogation of some MICS functions. In any case, if you pursue this you will need a shop manual. You can buy a download emanual from ebay seller automanualsource for $21.99.

good luck
