Thanks so much to all, we are able to finally pull the head out. It's FUN!!!

Now going to take it to the machine shop, then he's going to tell/verify if there are any bent valves or what head needs?

Any other heads up or piece of advise from all of you experts?

Thanks so much PM.

Yes, I am going to share some pictures, not exactly sure. To me valves seem just fine?

But again, you know how much I know

Might just be me and the angle but it looks like a few are bent/not seated all the way.

A bright flashlight into the intake/exhaust ports - from the piston side, are you seeing the light?

Ok, a little slow today.

Another idea for you.

Put the spark plugs in. Flip the head upside down and get it as level as you can. Pour water, slowly into the chamber.

Agree w/ PM. Some valves appear to stand proud when they should be near flush.

good luck

Unless you spin the camshaft before each photo, some of the valves SHOULD be a little bit open. Say cyl-1 is at TDC on top of compression stroke, all it's valves are closed. At the same time cyl-4 is at TDC on top of exhaust stroke & valves are just a bit open because of overlap.
