Default 2003 Malfunction Light

My 2003 EX Malfunction Indicator Lamp is on. The engine idles roughly, and was difficult to start a couple of times. It seems to run as normal when driving. The handbook advisies to make sure that the gas cap is tightened correctly, but other than that, offers no real help other than the usual "take to dealer"
Any advice would be appreciated.

Autozone diagnostic came up with two possibilities. P0341 CMP Sensor and CKP Sensor incorrect phase detected.
P0011 UCT System malfunction.

Auto zone did not know what CMP or CKP sensors were, as it did not show up on their database.

The P0341 means that the timing between the crankshaft and camshaft is off. From my reading, the likely cause is the timing chain is stretched and needs replaced. There is an auto-tensioner that you can check to see if it is near the limit it can push to take up the slack in the chain.

Do not wait on getting this issue checked out.

How do I check to see if the chain is stretched and if the auto-tensioner near its limit?
