Default 2004 accord v6 6MT engine ticking

I'll start from where it began. was driving down the highway went to shift from 2nd to 3rd and money shifted into 1st. It was maybe in first for a second at most before I realized that the car was sitting at 8000RPM. I quickly shifted into neutral. I took the next exit off the highway and headed home. There was a noticeable power loss from the money shift. I got home about 5 minutes later, let the car idle for about a minute in the driveway because I was hearing some sort of a ticking noise that was previously present. I gave it a little gas and the ticking sped up with the RPMS. I shut off the car. About three days later I drove it again because my daily was being used by my sister, as i was letting it warm up the oil light came on and then about 5 seconds later the car shut off. It would start up and run for about 5 seconds and then die out again. I left it for another 3 days because I didn't have time for it. After those three days I did an oil change. There were no metal shavings in the oil so I've ruled out rod knock. Been driving it today after the oil change and it seems to be fine at this point minus that noise. It's oddly no longer at a loss of power, no clue why. Couldn't be floated lifters because these engines don't have lifters (or atleast thats my understanding). I've taken it to two shops and they've both been of no use both saying floated lifters. I'll attach a video of what it sounds like below. Thanks

Noises are tough to diagnose over the web even with video. It does sound like valve/rocker arm noise or something internal to the engine. You are right that your car doesn't have hydraulic lifters.

Has the oil pressure light turned on before? What you drained your old oil, how much oil came out of the engine?

Do you have a scan tool that can read live data?

I have an OBD2 reader which I have used (negligible oxygen sensor code that the car had when I bought it). It was a full 4 Litres of oil that I had put in the car on its last oil change. And no the oil light has never been on before.

Floated lifters with your V6 Honda at 8000 RPM means the valves didn't close quick enough and were hit by the pistons. I would suggest a compression check and an oil pressure test.
