Default 2004 Honda Accord subframe

Will a subframe from 4 cylinder Accord coupe fit on a 6 cylinder Accord coupe. If not will a subframe from a v6 sedan fit on a coupe.

Front or rear?

For the front, looking at Honda parts websites: The four cyl will not work with a v6. Looking at the part numbers the v6 coupe and sedan do use the same one. I used the auto transmission when looking at all of this. So if you have a manual trans you will need to verify that they are the same.

Like @poorman212 wrote, there is no interchange between 4-Cylinder and 6-Cylinder sub frames, however, there is interchange between sedan and coupe with the same engine.

So if a sedan has the same engine as a coupe it would work on a coupe?

Does it matter if it’s a manual or auto?

Maybe, but that would come down to the trans and engine mounts.
