Default 2005 Accord. 3 Windows Not Working

I have a 2005 Accord 4 Door LX. I had my front driver and front passenger side windows open a small bit one day and of course while I was away it rained. When I got to my car later that day and tried to use the windows, only the front driver window would work. When I try to control the other 3 windows from the front driver switches, I can hear a click coming from the switch of whichever door window Im trying to use but they wont move. When I use the switch at each door I get nothing. No click or movement at all. I find it strange that all 3 windows dont work now...the main switch is in position to let those three windows be used but I still get nothing. Any ideas?

Diagnostics on these windows is not terrible, but does require a shop manual. There are extensive checks, far too much to post on this forum.

There is a reset procedure that supposed to be performed whenever regulator, motor, window run channel, or door glass is replaced. You may have enough moisture to cause some electronic problems. After drying for a while, I would suggest starting w/ the reset procedure.

I suggest you get a shop manual from automanualsource on ebay. You can get an excellent OEM emanual by download for $21.99 that covers your model. Excellent seller whom I used to obtan my 03 Acura MDX manual.

good luck

Turns out the master window switch went bad because of the rain. Thanks for the help!

These switch assemblies are very sensitive to moisture.

I left my windows cracked while going to a meeting out-of-office recently. Wonder of wonders, it rained lightly (rare event in Houston these days). Only a few drops on the door arm rest and switches.

When I started, the side air bag off light came on. I went home and left windows open in my garage to allow drying. Code did not return on next morning's start or since.

good luck
