Default 2005 Navi problem

I recently had to change my battery now my navigation is way off track. I've driving around for the last 2 days to see if the system would get back on track but it is off about 5 miles. The left hand corner with the GPS arrow is red so I'm assuming it's not getting a signal but when I drive the car the arrow moves. Is there anywhere or anything I can do to check the system without spending a bundle at the dealership?? Thanks.

Should just need a recalibration... usually when you disconnect the battery, you reenter the radio theft code, then the navi automatically start "acquiring GPS signal" and tells you not to turn the engine off, park outside, and that it may take up to 10 minutes to finish.

There might be an option to do this manually in the setup menu.
