2006 Accord P0365 STILL even after new sensor

Thank you for the reply.
The battery is 3-4 years old. The engine cranks fine when starting and when off the battery measures 12.8 volts and when running 14 volts.
The connector looks good with no damage.
The P0365 code for the cmp sensor is the only electrical issue I’ve noticed.

For s$:&;s and giggles go have your battery and alternator tested to rule it out. The CAM sensor is only effected by a bad connector/wire harness, battery, sensor itself, stretched chain and starter as the last resort. I won't even bring up the PCM. Never seen that as an issue with this code

As you can see from my thread above, this is the second sensor as well as a brand new timing chain. I checked the connector on the sensor and seem to get good voltage...

I didn’t change the crankshaft sensor or the camshaft sensor on the intake side.
Like I said, with the connector unplugged from the sensor I get a good ground connection and 14 volts. I haven’t found a good way to tap in the the signal wire from the sensor while it’s plugged in, nor would I know what voltage or should read if I do find a way.

The test said that the battery needed to be charged before it could be tested. I assumed that it ran down from me cracking it so much and not running very long. I bought a new battery just to be sure and then had them test the alternator which tested good.
