2007 Accord 3.0 Power Steering intermittent failure
Started last Saturday out fo the clear blue. Started the car in the morning and no power steering. No whining noise at all. The reservoir WAS almost empty a few weeks ago but I filled it and the power steering had never stopped working until last Saturday. Last couple of days when I start it in the morning it's fine and then withing about ten minutes it's back to no power steering again. Before I change the pump, is there a test to make sure the rack and pinion isn't the culprit? I was reading about some o-rings failing in the hoses. Is that a possible culprit?

The rings are where the hoses attach to the pump. Since you are losing fluid, you'll need to find the leak. Look for fluid stains on all ps hoses and around the rack.
when you replaced the fluid, did you use Honda power steering fluid or something that said compatible for Honda?
