2009 accord vibration
#2
The front-center engine mount is vacuum-operated; it's supposed to get soft when idling in REV or DRIVE. Here's how to test, with a helper you trust. Follow the vacuum hose from that front mount, find the solenoid valve that supplies vacuum.
1) Get the car completely warmed up.
2) Put the transmission in DRIVE & hold the brake.
3) Unplug the wiring plug from that vacuum solenoid valve.
4) It's supposed to get noticably more vibrations, so if there's no difference that means something is wrong. Maybe a vacuum hose is disconnected? Solenoid not working? etc.
