It depends on trim level (e.g., EX, SE, LX, DX), not coupe or sedan.
EX and SE (2000 Accord had SE trim level) came with factory installed keyless entry/security system. For the EX and SE, it is part of the multiplex control unit.
LX did not come with keyless entry; it was an accessory that could be added on. If it was dealer-installed, usually the unit was installed behind the driver's dashboard lower cover.
