no keyless entry after replacing multiplex unit

Default no keyless entry after replacing multiplex unit

2005 Honda accord ex, 4door. So i replaced the multiplex unit on the drivers side door now might keyless entry won't work. How do i fix this?
I plug my old on back in and the keyless entry works just fine.

Why replace MICS?

MICS requires diagnostics similar to ECM, find code, and address code issues. You will need a shop manual to perform the diagnostics w/o special honda tool. check automanualsource.com for an download manual.

It may be as simple as new key replacement process, however this requires special tools that locksmith and Honda only have.

After replacement of the door multiplex control unit, you'll have to reprogram the remotes. See post #8 in this thread link:

Redbull-1: after watching the video in the link you provided i went and tried it. What i learned,from my experience, was that it does work but requires two keys to make this method work. One to have in the ignition and one to press the lock/unlock button. But again this method worked for me. thank you very much
