2011 Coupe water leak
This post is a warning for all of you with a 2011 Coupe's, it may also affect the sedan but I wouldn't know.
Do not take your car to a car wash with high pressure water jets or when washing my hand do not direct the water at the bottom of the front window where it meets the weather stripping on the cowl cover.
Also you should check that the cowl is fitted as securely as the plastic pop rivets can hold it.
What happens is water can get under the weather stripping and then pour down through the fresh air intake on to the cabin filter, then on to the fan and then on to the floor on the passenger side.
This is a design flaw by Honda as my local dealer does not have an answer either. I hope this gets addressed by Honda as soon as possible because as the weather stripping and plastic gets older the leaking will increase
I'm sure Honda could design some sort of cover to solve this problem but until they do..... save yourself a lot of grief.
