I have a 2014 Accord with 55k miles. About4 months ago all of my warning lights lit up at the same time while driving, I lost power steering and the engine almost died before returning to normal. After that the battery warning light sometimes lit and a warning message "check charging system" appeared. My mechanic insisted it was a battery issue and installed a new battery but after that I still get the battery warning light and the error message on occasion. Any similar issues???

 

If you have a volt meter, see what the voltage is across the battery when the engine is not running, then the voltage when the engine is running.

You can stop by a parts store and have them check for codes. They can also test the battery and alternator. Before buying parts, you should post any codes on here to get advise. Post the actual code. They start with the letter P and have four numbers, like p1234.
