Default RE: 2237 fault code

Hi, I just got the same trouble code P2237 (Autozone said it was AF sensor DIP line high voltage -12, Open or short circuit or Failed AF sensor) - and I'm trying to determine the location of the sensor to determine cause. Could there be an indirect cause for this? I replaced the Air Filter with an aftermarket one about three weeks ago - I am wondering if a) I damaged the sensor/wiring replacing the filter or b) the air flow is now different due to an aftermarket filter difference, resulting in a "fault" condition.

I think this is the A/F (aka O2) sensor that you see from top of engine bay close to firewall (not the one in front near radiator).

I too have this code and am working on fixing it but having some trouble.

First, I cannot get the electrical clip disconnected. I push on the tab and pull as hard as I can but nothing moves. I've tried on the front one as well B2S1 even though it isn't bad just to see if I could get that clip off. I've wedged a flathead tip in there and can get a tiny bit if separation but it just goes right back when I release pressure. Is there a trick to disco these?

Second, what part/parts can/should I use to replace it? Can I use a Bosch 15730 4-wire O2 sensor even though this is a 5-wire A/F sensor? Do I then just combine the black/ground wires? Can I use a Bosch 15401 OE sensor? Or do I need a sensor from Honda?

Third, I can just use a 3/8" wrench to remove sensor, right? No need for an O2 socket.

Thanks for reading and hopefully responding!

The location of the sensor depends on the year of the car, and whether 4-cyl or V-6...??
You won't want to use a generic sensor with the wrong number of wires.

Same as OP. 2003 Accord EX V6 Auto. I'm fairly certain on the location for this car for B1S1.

I think I'm going to go with the Bosch 15401.

Denso seems to make the sensors for Honda. I haven't used Bosch & don't know their part numbers.

Sensor 1 is at the top of each catalyst, against the head. Sensor 2 would be below each catalyst. But I'm not sure of the numbering of bank 1 vs bank 2.

It might be in there pretty tight, so a normal wrench might not cut it. If the wire fits through a closed-end wrench, go for it. An open-end wrench might round off the sensor hex.

On the six cyl, bank 1 is on the back side of the engine
