Default 2K Accord LX 4 cycl overheating

My 2000 Accord LX 4 cycl is over heating. Temp gauge is hitting the redline. the radiator fans don't appear to be coming on when the engine comes up to temperature. Fuses are good, and both fans will run when the AC is on. I did just change out a heater hose. Where should I look next for a possible fix? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the overheating happen before or after replacing the heater hose?

Did you purge air from the radiator after replacing the heater hose? See this video:

Thanks for the video link. I'll try that tonight. To answer your question, yes it started running hot before I changed the hose. The hose was leaking.

With the car off and a funnel attached to the radiator open the 12mm head bleeder bolt located on the back of the intake on the passengers side. Allow it to drain and bubble until fluid comes out smooth and free of bubbles. If air surges out when you crack it then there is a good chance that is the problem.
