Default 52 Reg Honda Accord 1.9 VTEC 'Sport' Clutch Issue

Hi - Any help much appreciated,

Yesterday I found the clutch much softer than normal. Still works ok and seemed to get a bit stiffer when I used the car - but still not as it had been.

I would like to know whether this could be something I could fix myself?

Are there any checks I could do to ascertain that?

Thanks very much,

Ben

What year is the car?

You would want to check for any leaking in the system. The clutch master and slave cyl could be leaking. If they are they need replacing.

The hardest part of replacing them is going to be bleeding the system after replacement.

Hi - Thanks for replying.

It's 2002 - UK Model (if that makes any difference?).

I guess there maybe videos online showing how to do the bleeding?

Thanks again

I'm sure there are videos around showing the whole process....never looked but I would guess there are a ton of them.
