89 honda accord carb/choke issue ?
Poorman, I want to thank you for helping me fix my high idle in my 89 Accord Carb.
I had Carb overhauled 3 years ago and last month the idle would not go below 1200 RPM
So, after reading a bunch of posts I decided to replace the Thermovalve "A " that influences the idle . Page 11-40 in the service manual gives a good illustration.
It worked !
I hope to repay the favor one day.

Sounds "corny", just pay it forward. We all have things we "know", so use one of yours to help someone else......my example, I can't do woodwork to save my life. I spent 3~4 months of weekends trying to repair a porch rail on the stairs - don't even ask how many 2X4's ended up being ruined. About at my wits end, someone stopped by one day, he had it fixed in 30 minutes.....me and those angles on the rails, well I just couldn't make it work.
