91 accord clutch question???
hello all. i have a 91 accord that i put a clutch in yesterday. the problem is, where the slave cylinder hits thearm that pushes the throwout bearing, there is only about 1/4 inch of space for the slave cylinder to push the arm down to release the clutch before the arm is bottomed out. with the clutch installed and the car not running, clutch pedal not being pushed, how much should the slave cylinder rod be sticking out??? thank you in advance for any help!!!

RE: 91 accord clutch question???
Probably normal.
The slavepiston will stick out the maximum amount when the clutch is brand new. As the clutch wears out, that throw-out lever will gradually get closer & closer to the slave cylinder.
