Default 91 Accord died when put in clutch to stop, won't start

I have a 1991 Accord EX wagon with 163k miles. Today on my way to work I was getting ready to stop at a stop light and pushed the clutch in to put it neutral and stop. As soon as the clutch was pushed in the car turned off and my battery and oil light came on as they would do if I stalled. I tried to start the car while still rolling with no success. The car wouldn't start at all and had to have a friend come and tow me.

The clutch does engage and the battery is charged, but the car will simply not start.

What happens when you try to start the car? Does the starter spin the engine just it won't run.....or when you turn the key to start, nothing happens?

Check the engine codes. Here is a DIY

If you have codes, please post them.

Also, when you turn the key to "on"/Pos II - watch the CEL. It should come on for ~3 seconds and then go off. Also during this time period, listen for the fuel pump to run (prime).
