I have never had an oil leak, but just developed one in the last week or so. It does not seem to be coming from the oil pressure unit or that side of the engine. It seems to be dripping down from the tranny case, (standard trans), but I am not sure if it is coming from the rear seal, maybe something above it. There is a place just next to where the dist is where oil accumulates. I had the dist replaced so it is not that, what else could it be? I appreciate your help.

 

It could very well be the distributor, there a seal on the shaft that seals the distributor to the cylinder head/camshaft. The easiest way to find a leak is to degrease/wipe down the entire area as best you can and find the highest point of oil residue.
