91 accord oil leak need HELP

Default 91 accord oil leak need HELP

i have a oil leak where the oil is collecting on the back of the engine block drivers side behind the timing belt. i replace the cam shaft seal about to weeks ago what else could be the problem or should i check the cam shaft seal again. thanks in advance

Where is the highest point that you see oil on the block?

Did you put some RTV on the corners of the arc where the valve cover sits on the cylinder head?

That video is for a different repair, but start watching at 18 min. He shows how to properly install the valve cover.

check oil filter base seal. could also be from head gasket oil feed orifice tube. need to remove head for that . its in back of head at center.

My 91 Accord has 206355. miles. does not leak a drop of oil. head has never been removed.

The oil pressure sending unit is also a possible source of an oil leak in that area. It is above the oil filter (kind of way above) and has a one wire connector going to it. That connector has a rubber boot that may be filled with oil to help verify that it is leaking.
