Default need oil leak help

I'm currently new to this forum and I just purchased a 95 accord v6. The car has an oil leak and it looks like it might be coming from the oil pan or the block. The other day I was driving and as soon as i parked i noticed that smoke was coming out if the hood. It wasn't not a lot of smoke but it was still noticeable. A friend told me the leak can possibly be from a gasket seal. I was wondering if anyone had any idea where could the leak be from. Ill make sure to post some pictures as soon as possible.
Thanks for the help in advance i appreciate it.

Has any work been done recently on your car?

You will have to find the highest point on the engine where oil is leaking to help narrow it down. Also, let us know what side of the engine has signs of oil leaking, like driver vs passenger side and bumper/firewall side of the engine bay.

Well the leak looks like it might be coming from the middle of the block on the passenger side. the leaks is on the side where the fender is. I'm not sure if it might be the cam seal or if its the oil pan that leaking. Like I had said before smoke was coming out the engine bay after I had driven for about 30 min.
Any help is very appreciated.

I just checked the car thoroughly and it turns out that the block on the car is broken and it has a piece welded on.

don't know technically what to suggest.

I know if it was me I'd understand as much as I could
about the seller's first impressions to me, so I would be more wary next time ...

BEST TO YOU.
