I moved your thread to the General Tech Help section. Please do not post help questions in the DIY section, as we no longer use that section for help questions in accordance with the forum rules.

OK, sorry, but I'm Doing It Yourself (Myself) DIY. I will post in GTH from now on. I have never taken on a job like this. I watched the you-tubes on this, but every car is different. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Slidewinder

These are some conflicting stickies posted in the DIY section; however, this is the most current for the DIY section:

Ok, I am now on the general tech help thank you. I have done lots of research prior to my post. I'm sure the clutch is almost gone. It is slipping badly. 245k miles is not bad for a clutch. What I am looking for is any tips for a 91 EX manual 5 speed. What should I remove prior to splitting the engine/tranny? should I use locktight on the new flywheel bolts, or on the pressure plate. Some sites say yes some say no. That type of thing is what I want to know.

Thank you all for any tips or tricks you can forward to me. I love this site.
