91 ex wont start without bouncing cluch any ideas
So my problem is 90 percent of the times I try to start the car it does nothing and the only way it will start is if I push the cluch up and down while holding the key in start position intil it catches then I keep the cluch down does anyone know how this cluch override works or any suggestions for a fix it is very frustrating thanx
The manual trans cars have two switches on the clutch pedal....one controls the cruise and the other is the inhibitor.
So the question is, the small wire on the starter. What is the voltage on that wire when the no start issue is present.....clutch in, key to start - measure the voltage on the small wire to the starter. Let us know what it reads.
