91 F22A1 No Ignition Timing Marks
I have a 91 Accord F22A1 that does not have any timing marks on the flywheel. I have cleaned the edge and turned the motor over by hand and there just aren't any marks. I know the previous owner swapped out the engine so I guess it is possible he used a flywheel off a different model with the timing marks on the crank pulley. Is there any way to mark this flywheel short of replacing it?
What are you trying to do on your car?
Look for the stamp on the engine to identify it. It should be near where the engine meets the transmission by the exhaust manifold. It will something like f22a1...

Since the timing belt is installed properly on your car, you may be able to get the cam shaft to TDC by aligning the two marks on the sprocket to the cylinder head. Paint a mark on the tooth of the flywheel when the cam is at TDC. Use a timing light to see if you painted the proper tooth on the flywheel. Hopefully that will get you to pass your inspection.
I don't know.
The TDC mark should be enough to get the timing. I don't think the 91 accord has a mark on the flywheel for 16 degrees before TDC.
Timing lights can be set to change when the will flash so you can see the TDC mark on the flywheel.
