Default 91 honda accord se HELP PLEASE

hello,
I recently bought a 1991 honda accord se. When i drove it home it was losing its power once it warmed up. I had to stop and let it cool to get back home. Since then i have been working on it everyday and cant figure out what the problem is. So here it goes it starts everytime thats not a problem if i let it idle for 5-10 min. it starts bogging down and the rpms drop to 500ish. i asked around and the first thing i replaced was the coil, because thats what everyone said it was. Didnt work, so i bought spark plugs and some fuel injector cleaner. Didnt work so i asked around and my cousin the mechianic told me they replace a lot of distrutors so i replaced that after he rode with me and said ya thats it. Didnt help, had the timing belt and egr replaced because he then said it had to be that and it didnt help. looked online and found people with simialar problem and they said clean the idle air controll valve or fast idle so i took them off and sprayed throttle body and then with cleaner, but still didnt fix it. so i made sure there was no air in the coolant lines. Still no fix ran some seaform in the gas and vac. line into the throttle body. nothing. I have not changed the oil or filter and my cousin has suppose to be bringing over a timing light to make sure that the distributor is in the right spot, any ideas would be great because if this isnt it i dont know what to do and i am all out of money. Anything please and thank you!

Does the check engine light turn on while driving, or the D4 light start flashing (maybe the S light in your car)? Regardless, check for codes anyway.

Just go to the common DIY index on the gen tech help forum. Open the link called How to check CEL codes. Check for engine and transmission codes. Post any codes you find on here.
