Post repair report - replacing fuel pump and strainer solved the coasting stall. The strainer was clogged. The tank had lots of corrosion floating around inside, so I replaced it too. I got a Spectra brand tank (made in Canada) The tank was not painted, so I sprayed it with some leftover black Hammertone. All in all, well worth it for $105.00.
